It's reasonable to assume that when you think of a classic British wedding, you envision the blistering summer heat, the rolling fields, Pimm's, barbecues, you name it. Now picture a wedding that transpires within the usual chaos of the festive period, and wonder how a day like that would unfold. Frost-covered steeples, the deep green of Christmas trees, the roar of a log fire, the glow of candles and Christmas lights. The magic this time of year naturally brings enhances a wedding day undoubtedly, with the warmth of family and friends exemplified by the good spirits of the holiday.
This past December, we had the absolute privilege of being able to capture and document the wedding of Jacqueline and Mark, just a handful of days before Christmas. It was clear from the onset that this couple were going to exhibit a celebration bursting with elegance. The regal black-tie event displayed the beauty that Northamptonshire has to offer, from the historic St Mary's Church, to the stunning backdrop of Harrowden Hall.
It was so enjoyable to be able to be part of such an exquisite winter wedding, displaying such love and warmth throughout the day. We were able to capture so many exciting moments that really make a wedding video, from the champagne pops to the sparklers, the day was filled with joy and love, that Jacqueline and Mark will be able to revisit and cherish for the rest of their happy marriage.
